Content- Did the student include the correct information that was taught in the classroom? In showing an understand of content did the student apply their learning in a way the shows that the student has an understanding of the material?
Coherency and Organization -Can the teacher or any other reader understand what is being stated in the blog? Is the information in the blog posted correctly?
Accuracy- Is the the blog grammatically correct?
Creativity and Progression - Does the student show a better understanding of how to use the blog and different ways to present material within the blog? Do the blogs show a progression in blogging skills?
Ooh, I really like the progression one. That's good. Improvement, good thing to measure, yes indeed. (Note, though: your first "accuracy" is misspelled. And actually, accuracy seems like an odd thing to call the grammatical section... eh, but I don't know what would be better. Also! "Point a" should be "points", I think.) Maybe where the points would fall on the scale - like, how bad/good would it have to be in order to get a three? - would be good. And I'm a bit confused... is it, like, four posts, then? If there are five per post, but twenty total? Maybe it's just my sucky math.
ReplyDeleteHello Steph,
ReplyDeleteCould you add a Writing Standards Composition link to your rubric, so students understand how to write a paragraph correctly?
Also, should you add timeliness?
Until Tuesday. :)
Very nice rubric. It's easy to understand and follow. But I also agree that timeliness should also be a factor.
